Your suggested route
The times below are suggested allowances, not live opening hours or transport schedules. Adjust the order for your arrival time, bookings and conditions.
Day 1 · Arrival · Follow the weather
Leave your bag at your accommodation or an available facility and check visibility. If Fuji is clear, prioritise the lakeshore; otherwise have lunch first. Keeping the order flexible is more useful than waiting several hours at one viewpoint.
Day 1 · Afternoon · Oishi Park
Travel to the north shore and allow 60–90 minutes for Oishi Park, its seasonal planting and the waterfront. Add one café or museum, then return for dinner. A comfortable lakeside section is enough; a complete lake circuit is unnecessary.
Day 2 · Morning · Arakurayama
Travel towards Fujiyoshida for Arakurayama Sengen Park, checking current visitor arrangements. Allow two to three hours including transport, the stepped ascent and viewpoints. The famous pagoda view involves climbing, so choose a turnaround point that suits your mobility.
Day 2 · Afternoon · Fujiyoshida lunch
Have lunch in Fujiyoshida before a short town walk or returning to Kawaguchiko. Keep at least an hour unallocated before collecting luggage and departing. Do not add another Fuji lake unless you extend the stay.
