This policy explains how Andy handles personal information through Andypanel at andypanel.com and its connected website addresses. For privacy questions, email hello@andypanel.com.

Travel-guide emails

The embedded signup form loads from MailerLite when displayed, which receives technical information such as your IP address and browser details. If you subscribe, MailerLite stores your email address and signup details for Andypanel and sends a confirmation email. You join the Travel guides list after confirming your address. I use this list to send occasional travel notes and new guides. You can unsubscribe using the link in any email, or contact hello@andypanel.com to request access, correction or deletion. Online enquiries

When the online form is available, I use the name, email address, project details and optional brand, timing and budget you submit to consider and respond to your enquiry. The form stores your message privately through OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare and uses Resend for email delivery. It does not subscribe you to marketing emails. A successful submission means the message was saved and accepted by the email service, not that it has been read. You can request access, correction or deletion by emailing hello@andypanel.com. Contacting me by email

The website’s email links open a draft in your chosen email app. You review and send it yourself. The website does not submit or save a new enquiry when you click an email link. If you send an email, I receive your address, message and any details or attachments you include through our email providers.

I use this information to consider and respond to your enquiry, discuss a collaboration and keep a record of our correspondence. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter. Please avoid medical information and other sensitive personal details.

Previous form submissions

The former enquiry form has been retired. Previously submitted names, contact details, brand information, project briefs, optional timing and budgets, submission references and delivery status may remain in the private website database hosted through OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare. Previous submissions were also sent to FormSubmit for attempted email delivery. These historical records have not been automatically deleted or resent. You can request access, correction or deletion by emailing me.

There is no public enquiry inbox. Stored records are accessible through the site owner’s authorised administration tools. Relevant provider information is available in FormSubmit’s privacy terms, OpenAI’s privacy policy and Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Technical information and security

Hosting and delivery services may process IP addresses, browser details, requested pages and security logs to operate and protect the website. The former form also stored temporary hourly hashes derived from IP addresses for rate limiting. When available, the form uses temporary hourly hashes derived from IP addresses to limit repeated submissions. These expire after at most two hours and are cleaned on subsequent submissions.

The site uses HTTPS and limits access to stored records. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Remembering your itinerary browsing

The itinerary directory uses your browser’s session storage to remember your search, filters and place in the results while you browse in the same tab. This browsing state is not submitted to the enquiry database. Filter values also appear in the page address so filtered results can be shared. Use Clear filters to reset your selections.

Optional website analytics

If you choose Allow analytics, this site loads Google Analytics to measure page visits, itinerary popularity, PDF downloads, affiliate-link clicks, Instagram clicks and email-link clicks. Google receives technical information about your browser and device, identifiers stored in analytics cookies, and the pages and measured interactions you use. I use these reports to improve the website. Clicking an email link is counted without sending its address, subject or message body to Analytics. Affiliate clicks record the provider and page, without the referral identifiers in the affiliate link. Search text and arbitrary page-address query parameters are excluded from our measurement; standard campaign labels may be included.

Analytics is off until you allow it. You can change your choice using Analytics preferences in the footer. Declining stops future Analytics measurement and removes this site’s Analytics cookies; it does not delete data already processed by Google. Your choice is remembered in this browser’s local storage. Analytics cookies are configured to expire after six months. Optional Google account data sharing and advertising-personalisation features are off. See how Google processes information from partner sites. This choice controls Analytics only; external-content services below have their own practices.

Advertising and external content

Automatic Google AdSense loading is disabled on this website. The site retains ownership-verification metadata and its ads.txt seller record, which do not load advertising scripts or set advertising cookies in your browser. If advertising is introduced again, this policy and the relevant choices will be updated.

The Instagram Reel player loads when you choose to open it. At that point, Instagram/Meta receives technical information from your browser and may use cookies according to its policies and your account settings. Photo links open Instagram separately. See Instagram’s privacy policy.

The optional Chinese-language link opens Google Translate. Choosing it sends the page address to Google, and browsing the translated page is subject to Google’s privacy policy. Other external links take you to services with their own privacy practices.

Affiliate links

Amazon Australia links on my packing page contain my Associate tracking ID. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Clicking a link opens Amazon, where its own privacy and cookie practices apply. No Amazon shopping widgets or tracking scripts are loaded on this website.

Some itinerary links to Klook, Trip.com and Viator are affiliate links. I may receive a commission when a reader books through them. These links contain referral identifiers so the provider can attribute a visit or booking to this website. They open the provider’s website, where its own privacy and cookie practices apply. This integration adds links only, not Klook, Trip.com or Viator tracking scripts or embedded booking widgets.

Use the booking links to compare options for your trip. Check the final price, inclusions, cancellation conditions and the operator’s current access information before booking.

Overseas processing

The hosting, form-delivery, email, advertising and social-media services used by this website operate internationally. Information may be processed outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries where those providers and their service providers operate. A complete country list for every service has not been verified. Their linked policies describe their international processing arrangements; contact me if you need more information before sending an enquiry.

Keeping and deleting information

Enquiry records and email correspondence are retained to manage enquiries and collaboration records. The website currently has no automatic deletion schedule for enquiry content. You can request deletion using the email below. Any legal record-keeping obligations, ongoing matters and copies held in provider backups may affect what can be removed and when. Provider-held technical and advertising information follows the relevant provider’s retention practices.

Access, corrections and privacy concerns

Email hello@andypanel.com to ask about information held about you, request access, correct a detail, request deletion or raise a privacy concern. Include enough detail to identify the relevant enquiry, but do not send identity documents unless requested through an appropriate process. I may need to verify that the information belongs to you before acting on a request.

I will review your concern and respond, including explaining any reason a request cannot be fulfilled. If you remain dissatisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner for information about complaint options and whether it can assist.

This page will be updated when the website’s information-handling arrangements change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
