Your suggested route
The times below are suggested allowances, not live opening hours or transport schedules. Adjust the order for your arrival time, bookings and conditions.
Morning · Robertson village
Start in Robertson with breakfast and supplies for the day. Allow 45 minutes before driving towards Belmore Falls. This keeps food and fuel separate from the waterfall visit, where you should not expect a town’s range of services.
Late morning · Belmore Falls lookouts
Use the official Belmore Falls walking track and allow an hour for its lookout sequence. NSW Parks describes a 1.8-kilometre return, Grade 3 walk. Stop at the designated viewpoints for the valley and waterfall; do not descend on unofficial tracks to recreate a photograph from below.
Lunch · Back in Robertson
Return to the village for a bakery or café lunch. Give the stop an hour and choose whether the afternoon should be another natural lookout or a slower village visit. Avoid planning several distant Southern Highlands towns into the same day.
Afternoon · One optional extension
If roads and park access are suitable, add Fitzroy Falls as a separate lookout visit, allowing travel time in both directions. Otherwise browse Robertson and head back in daylight. The two-waterfall version should feel like a full day, not a stop on an already crowded Sydney-to-coast drive.
